# Parallelogram

Parallelogram has sides lengths in the ratio 3: 4 and perimeter 2.8 meters. Determine the lengths of the sides.

Result

a =  0.6 m
b =  0.8 m

#### Solution:

4a = 3b
2.8 = 2(a+b)

4a-3b = 0
2a+2b = 2.8

a = 35 = 0.6
b = 45 = 0.8
