Apples

Apples I picked 600 kg this year. Autumn's apples was 4 times more than the summer. How many kg's I picked the summer and how much winter apples?

Result

a =  120 kg
b =  480 kg

Solution:

a+b=600
b = 4a

a+b = 600
4a-b = 0

a = 120
b = 480

Calculated by our linear equations calculator.
