The tank is full up to 4/5 of the total height and contains 240 hl of water. The area of the base is 6 square meters. What is the height of the tank?
2. Painters
Six of the painters paint 90 m of fence in five hours. For how long would the 4 painters paint a 45 meter fence? How many meters fence painted painters 5 for two hours?
3. Notebooks
Liza a store owner buys 560 notebooks. He sold 3/8 of the notebook then she adds the stocks of notebook of 1/4 of the number of notebooks she bought. What is the total number of notebook she bought?
4. Garden
The rectangular garden has dimensions of 27 m and 30 m. Peter and Katka split it in a ratio of 4:5. How many square meters did Katkin measure part of the garden?
5. Pounds
3 pounds subtract 1/3 of a pound.
6. Equation
Find x: x + 1/2 = 1/3
7. Two workers
The first worker would himself completed the work in 8 hours, the other in 6 hours. After two hours of joint work left the first worker to a doctor and other completed work himself. How many hours worked the other worker himself?
8. Teacher
Teacher Rem bought 360 pieces of cupcakes for the outreach program of their school. 5/9 of the cupcakes were chocolate flavor and 1/4 wete pandan flavor and the rest were vanilla flavor. How much more chocolate flavor cupcakes than vanilla flavor?
9. Ratio 11

10. School
There are 150 pupils in grade 5 . 2/3 of it are female. By what fractions are the males?
11. Savings
Eva borrowed 1/3 of her savings to her brother, 1/2 of savings spent in the store and 7 euros left. How much did she save?
12. Cakes
1/3 poppy cake, 1/3 apple, 15 pieces of cheese. How many are totally cakes?
13. Parking
At a building parking, 245 spaces are for cars, 56 are for vans and the rest are for buses. If 14% of all parking spaces are for buses, how many parking spaces are there in the building? How many spaces are for buses?
14. Third of an hour
How many minutes is a third of an hour? Do you know to determine a third of the lesson hour (45min)?
15. Discount
The dress was discounted by CZK 115, which was 12% of the original price. What is the cost of the dress after the discount?
16. Passenger boat
Two-fifths of the passengers in the passenger boat were boys. 1/3 of them were girls and the rest were adult. If there were 60 passengers in the boat, how many more boys than adult were there?
17. My father
My father has a big farm. 6/8 of it were planted with mango trees, 1/2 of the remainder are guava trees and the rest 10 trees are santol trees. What is the number of all trees?
18. Bus vs train
Milada took the bus and the journey took 55 minutes. Jarmila was 1h 20 min by train. They arrived in Prague at the same time 10h45 min. At what time did each have to go out?
19. Two pumps together
The first pump will fill the tank itself in 3 hours and the second one in 6 hours. How many hours will the tank be full if both pumps are worked at the same time?
20. The pole
The telegraph pole is supported by a 4 m bullet at 3/4 of its height, the end of which is at a distance 2.5 m from the pole post. Calculate the height of the telegraph pole.
