Tomas skis from point A (3200m above sea level to place B. Hill has 20% descent. The horizontal distance between the start and finish is 2,5km. At what altitude is point B?

Result

B =  2700 m AMSL

$A = 3200 \ m \ \\ p = 20 \% = \dfrac{ 20 }{ 100 } = 0.2 \ \\ x = 2.5 \ km = 2.5 \cdot \ 1000 \ m = 2500 \ m \ \\ \ \\ B = A - p \cdot \ x = 3200 - 0.2 \cdot \ 2500 = 2700 = 2700 \ \text { m AMSL }$
