# Temperature change 3

At 2 p. M. The temperature was 76 degrees Fahrenheit. At 8 p. M. The temperature was 58 degrees Fahrenheit. What was the change in temperature?

Result

c =  -18 °F

#### Solution:

$t_{ 1 } = 76 \ ^\circ F \ \\ t_{ 2 } = 58 \ ^\circ F \ \\ \ \\ c = t_{ 2 }-t_{ 1 } = 58-76 = -18 = -18 ^\circ F$
