# A cloth

There are flower cloth 495 meters, white cloth 330 meters.
What is the percentage of white cloth?
How much is white cloth less than flower cloth?

Result

p =  40 %
x =  165 m

#### Solution:

$f = 495 \ m \ \\ w = 330 \ m \ \\ \ \\ p = 100 \cdot \ \dfrac{ w }{ f+w } = 100 \cdot \ \dfrac{ 330 }{ 495+330 } = 40 = 40 \%$
$x = f-w = 495-330 = 165 = 165 \ \text{ m }$
