Mixing paint with water

Mr. Adamek will paint. The purchased paint is diluted with water in a ratio of 1: 1.5.

a) how many parts of water will add to 1 part of the paint
b) how many liters of water the mission adds to 2 liters of paint

Correct result:

a =  1.5
b =  3 l

Solution:

$a=1.5=\frac{3}{2}$
