Snowman

In a circle with a diameter of 40 cm are drawn three circles (as a snowman) where:

its diameters are integers,
each larger circle diameter is 2 cm larger than the diameter of the previous circle.

Determine snowman height if we wish for the highest snowman.

Correct answer:

X =  39 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

a+(a+2)+(a+2+2)=40 3a + 6 = 40 a=floor((406)/3)=11  X = a+(a+2)+(a+2+2) X=3 a+6=3 11+6=39 cm
