If the current way to school was 2 km shorter then if Milan swipe one half he will have already one quarter of the way to school behind. How long is Milan's way to school?
2. Brick wall
Garden 70 m long and 48 m wide should surround with wall 2.1 meters high and 30 cm thick. Wall will be built on the garden ground. How many will we need bricks if to 1 m³ is required approximately 300 bricks?
3. Midpoints
Triangle ABC with sides a = 5 cm, b = 3 cm, c = 40mm has a midpoint of K, L, M. How many centimeters is long perimeter of parallelogram KBLM?
4. Trees
A young tree is 16 inches tall. One year later, it is 20 inches tall. What is the percent increase in height?
5. Wood lumber
Wooden lumber is 4 m long and has a cross section square with side 15 cm. Calculate: a) the volume of lumber b) the weight of the lumber if 1 m3 weighs 790 kg
6. 2d shape
Calculate the content of a shape in which an arbitrary point is not more than 3 cm from the segment AB. The length of the segment AB is 5 cm.
7. Vehicle tank
A vehicle tank was 3/5 full of petrol. When 21 liters of fuel was added it was 5/6 full. How many liters of petrol can the tank hold?
8. Hamster cage
Ryan keeps his hamster cage on his dresser. The area of the top of Ryan's dresser is 1 2\3 as large as the area of the bottom of his hamster cage. The area of the dresser top is 960 square inches. How many square inches of his dresser top are not covered
