0.5 g/l = 0.5 ‰
*(Because 1 per mille = 1 gram of alcohol per liter of blood.)*
2. Track gradient (e.g. 10 ‰):
- If the train climbs 10 mm per 1 meter of track, then:
10 mm1000 mm × 1000 = 10 ‰
3. Statistics (e.g. 3 ‰ unemployed):
- If a country has 3 unemployed people out of 1000 people, then:

How to convert between per mille and percentages?
