Roof tiles

The roof has a trapezoidal shape with bases of 15 m and 10 m, height of roof is 4 meters. How many tiles will need if on 1 m2 should be used 8 tiles?

Correct result:

n =  400

Solution:

a=15 m c=10 m h=4 m S1=(a+c)/2 h=(15+10)/2 4=50 m2 n=S1 8=50 8=400a=15 \ \text{m} \ \\ c=10 \ \text{m} \ \\ h=4 \ \text{m} \ \\ S_{1}=(a+c)/2 \cdot \ h=(15+10)/2 \cdot \ 4=50 \ \text{m}^2 \ \\ n=S_{1} \cdot \ 8=50 \cdot \ 8=400
