Maths practice for 9-year-olds

This section contains practice problems for 9-year-old students, generally in 3rd or 4th grade, covering multiplication and division mastery, multi-digit arithmetic, fractions (comparing, ordering, simple operations), decimals to hundredths, and measurement including metric and customary units. Geometry expands to include angles, symmetry, and properties of quadrilaterals. Students work with factors, multiples, prime numbers, and begin exploring patterns and basic algebraic thinking. Word problems become more complex, requiring multiple steps and strategy selection. Data analysis includes interpreting various graph types and understanding mean, median, and mode. The curriculum builds mathematical reasoning, accuracy, and the ability to apply concepts across contexts.
