Calculate average mark in English, if a student got a couple of 3's, 20% less 2 than 3, and 50% more 1's than the 2's.

Result

p =  1.933

Solution:

p=3x+20.8x+11.50.8xx+0.8x+1.50.8x=31+20.8+11.50.81+0.8+1.50.8=1.933p= \dfrac{ 3\cdot x+2\cdot 0.8x+1\cdot 1.5\cdot 0.8x}{ x+0.8x+1.5\cdot 0.8x} = \dfrac{ 3\cdot 1+2\cdot 0.8+1\cdot 1.5\cdot 0.8}{ 1+0.8+1.5\cdot 0.8} = 1.933
