Z9 – I – 4 MO 2019

Matúš landed with a parachute on an island inhabited by two kinds of natives: the Honest ones, who always tell the truth, and the Liars, who always lie. Before landing he glimpsed in the distance a harbour, to which he intended to get. At the first crossroads Matúš met one native, and at a distance he saw a second. He asked the first one to ask the second one whether he is a Liar or an Honest one. The first native
complied with Matúš, went to ask, and when he returned, he told Matúš that the second native claims that he is a Liar. Then Matúš asked the first native, which road leads to the harbour. That one showed him one road and paid no further attention to Matúš.

Should, or should not Matúš believe the native? Does, or does this road not lead to the harbour?
