Peter has a long rope 2 4/5 meter. Martin has a rope 20 cm longer. What distance ropes achieved if the boys link ropes?

Result

x =  5.8 m

Solution:

x=2 (2+4/5)+0.2=295=5.8  m x=2 \cdot \ (2 + 4/5)+0.2 = \dfrac{ 29 }{ 5 } = 5.8 \ \text { m }
