Rectangle

The width of the rectangle is 65% of its length. Perimeter of the rectangle is 132 cm. Determine the dimensions of the rectangle.

Result

a =  26 cm
b =  40 cm

Solution:

a = 65/100 b
2(a+b) = 132

100a-65b = 0
2a+2b = 132

a = 26
b = 40
