# Temperature difference

The highest temperature of Libya was recorded 58 degree Celsius and the lowest was recorded -88 degree Celsius, what is the temperature difference?

Correct result:

t =  146 °C

#### Solution:

$t_{1}=58 \ ^\circ \text{C} \ \\ t_{2}=-88 \ ^\circ \text{C} \ \\ \ \\ t=t_{1} - t_{2}=58 - (-88)=146 ^\circ \text{C}$
