# Parallelogram

Calculate the area and perimeter of a parallelogram whose two sides are long a=24 cm b=22 cm and height ha = 6 cm long.

Correct result:

p =  92 cm
S =  144 cm2

#### Solution:

$p = 2(a+b) = 2\cdot (24+22) = 92 \ \text{cm}$
$S = a \cdot h_a = 24\cdot 6 = 144 \ \text{cm}^2$
