# n-gon II

What is the side length of the regular 5-gon circumscribed circle of radius 11 cm?

Result

x =  15.98 cm

#### Solution:

$\theta = \dfrac{ 180 ^\circ }{ 5} = \dfrac{ \pi}{ 5} = 36 ^\circ \ \\ x = 2r \tan \theta = 2r \tan( \dfrac{ \pi}{ 5} ) = 15.98 \ \text{cm}$
