# Pizza

Three siblings ordered one pizza. Miška ate a quarter of the whole pizza. Lenka ate a third of the rest and Patrik ate half of what Lenka had left. They had the rest packed up. How much of the pizza did they pack? Write the result as a fraction.

Result

x =  0.25

#### Solution:

$a=1 - 1/4=\dfrac{ 3 }{ 4 }=0.75 \ \\ b=a - a/3=0.75 - 0.75/3=\dfrac{ 1 }{ 2 }=0.5 \ \\ c=b -b/2=0.5 -0.5/2=\dfrac{ 1 }{ 4 }=0.25 \ \\ \ \\ x=c=0.25=\dfrac{ 1 }{ 4 }$
