# Painting

The room is long 50 meters and wide 60dm and 300 cm high. Calculate how much it will cost painting if area of windows and doors is 15% of the total area. One square meter cost 50cents.

Result

x =  270.3 Eur

#### Solution:

$S_{1}=50 \cdot \ 6=300 \ \\ S_{2}=3.00 \cdot \ 2 \cdot \ (50+6)=336 \ \\ S=S_{1} + S_{2}=300 + 336=636 \ \\ k=1-15/100=\dfrac{ 17 }{ 20 }=0.85 \ \\ x=0.50 \cdot \ k \cdot \ S=0.50 \cdot \ 0.85 \cdot \ 636=\dfrac{ 2703 }{ 10 }=270.3 \ \text{Eur}$
