Square s3

Calculate the diagonal of the square, where its area is 0.49 cm square. And also calculate its circumference.

Result

u =  0.99 cm
o =  2.8 cm

Solution:

$S=0.49 \ \\ a=\sqrt{ S }=\sqrt{ 0.49 }=\dfrac{ 7 }{ 10 }=0.7 \ \\ u=\sqrt{ 2 } \cdot \ a=\sqrt{ 2 } \cdot \ 0.7 \doteq 0.9899 \doteq 0.99 \ \text{cm}$
$o=4 \cdot \ a=4 \cdot \ 0.7=\dfrac{ 14 }{ 5 }=2.8 \ \text{cm}$
