# Sides of triangle

Triangle circumference with two identical sides is 117cm. The third side measures 44cm. How many cms do you measure one of the same sides?

Result

x =  36.5 cm

#### Solution:

$o = 117 \ cm \ \\ c = 44 \ cm \ \\ x = (o-c)/2 = (117-44)/2 = \dfrac{ 73 }{ 2 } = 36.5 = 36.5 \ \text{ cm }$
