Peroxide

How many ml 30% of peroxide (H2O2) should be poured into 100ml H2O to give a 20% solution?

Result

x =  200 ml

Solution:

 0.30 x=0.20(x+100)  0.1x=20  x=200 =200  ml  \ \\ 0.30 \ x = 0.20(x+100) \ \\ \ \\ 0.1x = 20 \ \\ \ \\ x = 200 \ \\ = 200 \ \text{ ml }
