# Hexagon in circle

Calculate the radius of a circle whose length is 10 cm greater than the circumference of a regular hexagon inscribed in this circle.

Correct result:

r =  35.313 cm

#### Solution:

$\ \\ 2 \pi \cdot \ r=10 + 6r \ \\ \ \\ 2 \cdot \ 3.1415926 \cdot \ r=10 + 6r \ \\ \ \\ 2 \cdot \ 3.1415926 \cdot \ r=10 + 6 \cdot \ r \ \\ \ \\ 0.283185r=10 \ \\ \ \\ r=35.31258=35.313 \ \text{cm}$
