# Gas sphere

The gas tank has the shape of a sphere with a diameter of 14 m. How many m3 of gas will fit in it?

Correct result:

V =  1436.8 m3

#### Solution:

$D=14 \ \text{m} \ \\ D=14 \ \text{m} \ \\ \ \\ r=D/2=14/2=7 \ \text{m} \ \\ \ \\ V=\dfrac{ 4 }{ 3 } \cdot \ \pi \cdot \ r^3=\dfrac{ 4 }{ 3 } \cdot \ 3.1416 \cdot \ 7^3=1436.8 \ \text{m}^3$
