Grass grows in the meadow equally fast and evenly. It is known that 99 cows graze meadow for 14 days and 95 cows by 22 days. How many cows graze meadow for 77 days?

Result

n =  90

#### Solution:

$d = \dfrac{ 99\cdot 14 - 95 \cdot 22 }{ 14-22 } = 88 \ \\ s = 99\cdot 14- d\cdot 14 = 154 \ \\ \ \\ n = \dfrac{ s + d \cdot 77 }{ 77} = 90$

99*14 = a+14*b
95*22 = a+22*b
n*77 = a+77*b

a+14b = 1386
a+22b = 2090
a+77b-77n = 0

a = 154
b = 88
n = 90
