# The size

The size of a Trapezium are 3/4×cm, ×cm 2(×+1)cm and 3(×+2)cm long respectively if it's perimeter is 60cm, calculate the length of each side.

Correct result:

a =  3.852 cm
b =  7.704 cm
c =  17.407 cm
d =  29.111 cm

#### Solution:

$b=x=7.7037=\dfrac{ 208 }{ 27 }=7.704 \ \text{cm}$
$c=2 \cdot \ (x+1)=2 \cdot \ (7.7037+1)=\dfrac{ 470 }{ 27 }=17.407 \ \text{cm}$
$d=3 \cdot \ (x+2)=3 \cdot \ (7.7037+2)=\dfrac{ 262 }{ 9 }=29.111 \ \text{cm}$
