# AM of three numbers

The number 2010 can be written as the sum of 3 consecutive natural numbers. Determine the arithmetic mean of these numbers.

Result

x =  670

#### Solution:

$\ \\ 2010 = a + (a+1)+(a+2) \ \\ \ \\ 3a = 2007 \ \\ \ \\ a = 669 \ \\ \ \\ x = a+1 = 669+1 = 670$
