$a = 0.5 \ m/s^2 \ \\ s = 400 \ m \ \\ \ \\ s = \dfrac{ 1 }{ 2 } a t^2 \ \\ t = \sqrt{ 2 \cdot \ s/a } = \sqrt{ 2 \cdot \ 400/0.5 } = 40 = 40 \ \text{ s }$
$v = a \cdot \ t = 0.5 \cdot \ 40 = 20 = 20 \ \text{ m/s }$
