Triangular prism

Calculate the volume of a triangular prism 10 cm high, the base of which is an equilateral triangle with dimensions a = 5 cm and height va = 4,3 cm

Result

V =  107.5 cm3

Solution:

$h=10 \ \text{cm} \ \\ a=5 \ \text{cm} \ \\ v=4.3 \ \text{cm} \ \\ \ \\ S_{1}=a \cdot \ v / 2=5 \cdot \ 4.3 / 2=\dfrac{ 43 }{ 4 }=10.75 \ \text{cm}^2 \ \\ \ \\ V=S_{1} \cdot \ h=10.75 \cdot \ 10=\dfrac{ 215 }{ 2 }=107.5 \ \text{cm}^3$
