# Sphere VS

Find the surface and volume of a sphere that has a radius of 2 dm.

Correct result:

S =  50.265 dm2
V =  33.51 dm3

#### Solution:

$r=2 \ \text{dm} \ \\ \ \\ S=4 \pi \cdot \ r^2=4 \cdot \ 3.1416 \cdot \ 2^2=50.265 \ \text{dm}^2$
$V=\dfrac{ 4 }{ 3 } \cdot \ \pi \cdot \ r^3=\dfrac{ 4 }{ 3 } \cdot \ 3.1416 \cdot \ 2^3=33.51 \ \text{dm}^3$
