# Track arc

Two straight tracks is in an angle 74°. They will join with circular arc with radius r=1127 m. How long will be arc connecting these lines (L)? How far is the center point of arc from track crossings (x)?

Correct result:

L =  2085 m
x =  1872.7 m

#### Solution:

$L = \dfrac{ \pi \cdot (180-74)}{ 180} \cdot 1127 = 2085 \ \text{m}$
$x = \dfrac{ 1127}{sin \dfrac{ 74 }{2}^\circ} = 1872.7 \ \text{m}$
