One kilogram of chocolate candy cost 10 euros. Kate buys 250 grams and had the 8 pack of candy. How much does cost one bonbon?

b =  0.313 Eur

#### Solution:

$c=10/1000=\dfrac{ 1 }{ 100 }=0.01 \ \text{Eur/gram} \ \\ b=c \cdot \ 250 / 8=0.01 \cdot \ 250 / 8=\dfrac{ 5 }{ 16 }=0.3125=0.313 \ \text{Eur}$
