# Milk package

Milk is sold in a box with dimensions of 9.5 cm; 16.5 cm and 6.5 cm. Determine the maximum amount of milk that can fit into a box. Coating thickness is negligible.

Correct result:

V =  1.019 l

#### Solution:

$a=9.5 / 10=\dfrac{ 19 }{ 20 }=0.95 \ \text{dm} \ \\ b=16.5 / 10=\dfrac{ 33 }{ 20 }=1.65 \ \text{dm} \ \\ c=6.5 / 10=\dfrac{ 13 }{ 20 }=0.65 \ \text{dm} \ \\ 1 \ l=1 \ dm^3 \ \\ V=a \cdot \ b \cdot \ c=0.95 \cdot \ 1.65 \cdot \ 0.65=1.019 \ \text{l}$
