Practice problems of the triangle - last pageA triangle is a polygon with three edges and three vertices. It is one of the basic shapes in geometry. The sum of the measures of the interior angles of a triangle is always 180 degrees. An exterior angle of a triangle is an angle that is a linear pair (and hence supplementary) to an interior angle. The best known area formula is T = a*h /2 where a is the length of the side of the triangle, and h is the height or altitude of the triangle.

- Chord - TS v2
The radius of circle k measures 72 cm. Chord GH = 11 cm. What is TS?
- Quadrilateral 2
Show that the quadrilateral with vertices P1(0,1), P2(4,2), P3(3,6) P4(-5,4) has two right triangles.
- Cylinder horizontally
The cylinder with a diameter of 3 m and a height/length of 15 m is laid horizontally. Water is poured into it, reaching a height of 60 cm below the cylinder's axis. How many hectoliters of water is in the cylinder?
- Chord BC
A circle k has the center at the point S = [0; 0]. Point A = [40; 30] lies on the circle k. How long is the chord BC if the center P of this chord has the coordinates: [- 14; 0]?
- Circular pool
The pool's base is a circle with a radius r = 10 m, excluding a circular segment that determines the chord length of 10 meters. The pool depth is h = 2m. How many hectoliters of water can fit into the pool?
- Trapezoid MO-5-Z8
ABCD is a trapezoid in that lime segment CE is divided into a triangle and parallelogram. Point F is the midpoint of CE, the DF line passes through the center of the segment BE, and the area of the triangle CDE is 3 cm². Determine the area of the trapezoi
