# Bus stop

Determine at what time the bus leaves from the bus stop outside the village, if you know that when you leave home at 8:00 and go at speed 3 km/h, you come to a stop 9 minutes after the departure of the bus, and when you go speed at 4 km/h, you come to the bus stop 10 minutes before departure. Calculate the distance from the village to bus stop.

Result

t = 9:07
s =  3.8 km

#### Solution:

s = 3 (t-8.00+9/60)
s = 4 (t-8.00-10/60)

60s-180t = -1413
60s-240t = -1960

s = 195 ≈ 3.8
t = 54760 ≈ 9.116667
